Hello, my name is Melanie Ewing
I have lived in Olive Branch, MS for 10 years, but I have lived in the mid-south for over 25 years. I absolutely love living in Olive Branch and I am very happy raising my 4 children here.
I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in May 2017 and jumped right into my new teaching career here at Overpark. This is my fourth year teaching & I love it! I have one child at Center Hill Middle, two at Center Hill High School and one attending UofM this year. My family and I are very involved in the Center Hill Community and we are proud to be Mustangs!

My Educational Philosophy
I do not believe that education is merely academics. A good education will not have one single academic focus; instead it will intertwine academics and character building.

As an educator my desire is to first and foremost love my students. Next, it is to create a safe learning environment where children love to be and want to participate. Finally, I want to instill a life long love for learning in all of my students and help them be the very best version of themselves that they can be!
